About the drummer

Sib Hashian was the drummer for the classic rock band Boston, playing on their massive self-titled debut album. He provided the powerful and polished rhythmic foundation for their signature "stadium-rock" sound. He is a great study for those learning drums to play melodic hard rock.

Drummer style

His style is characterized by a "big" room sound and well-placed, powerful fills that punctuate the guitar riffs. Playing drums like Hashian requires a focus on a steady backbeat and clean, explosive accents. His iconic tracks are staples in drum lessons and are classic choices for drum covers.
